Green Mountain Computing Systems, Inc. is a Vermont company that develops custom and OEM software to address the critical time-to-market issues of electronic design through the application of our expertise in programming languages (i.e., HDLs). We believe that the techniques of programming languages are the key to maximizing design productivity by reducing the complexity of electronic design.

Green Mountain Computing Systems has been providing VHDL simulation since it was founded in 1994. In 1999, we released VHDL Studio, the first VHDL design suite to include incremental analysis to provide on-the-fly error detection and advanced design navigation. DirectVHDL has evolved from the VHDL Studio product to be an ideal tool for learning VHDL.
